Location: Virtually via Zoom
Students will learn the fundamentals of an actor and the process of creating their character. This is an interactive class – students will be required to be on camera and interact with their peers and their instructor.
Class Components:
CREATIVE THINKING - We explore different lenses of looking at things. Students are encouraged to use our safe space to express themselves.
BUILDING SELF ESTEEM AND CONFIDENCE - We encourage our students to go at their own pace and what explore what they’re comfortable with while giving them that extra push.
SPEAKING SKILLS - what you say is important, and how you say it makes it important. We’ll build their confidence while learning how to speak in public.
This course is for those who have the acting bug, and are interested in learning more about what it takes to become an actor. This course requires low pressure, and provides a safe place to play.

Acting 101
Ages: 8 years - 15 years
Tuesdays, September 1 - October 6
Class Meeting Time: 6pm-7pm
Class Fee: $75
This class is for students who have little or no previous acting experience. Students will learn the fundamentals of being an actor, finding your character, and applying it to the text. Students will be given a monologue to study during the duration of the session, and will perform their monologue the final week of class. During the duration of the session, students will have access to sides from real scripts and will be given a real opportunity to apply the material learned in the previous weeks.

Acting 102
Ages: 8 years - 15 years
Tuesdays, September 1 - October 6
Class Meeting Time: 7pm-8pm
Class Fee: $75
This class is for students who have attended Acting 101 or have some previous acting experience. A 6 week program for the intermediate actor looking to be introduced into the detailed work of finding your character. Students will be challenged to cold read from numerous scripts with their peers, and analyze how the text contributes to their character. Students will be given a monologue to study during the duration of the session, and will perform their monologue the final week of class.
*The script sides we will be using will be from the Junior Series

Acting 103
Ages: 13+
Wednesdays, September 2 - October 7
Class Meeting Time: 6pm-7pm
Class Fee: $75
This class is for students who have attended Acting 102 or have previous acting experience. A 6 week program for the intermediate/advanced actor looking to dive into the detailed work of finding your character and applying it to text. Students will be given script sides weekly and will analyze the characters within the scene and how to apply the information to their performance. This class is for the seasoned actor who wants to practice their craft.
*The script sides we will be using will be selected from our Teen Series

Acting 104
Ages: 13+
Thursdays, September 3 - October 8
Class Meeting Time: 6pm-7pm
Class Fee: $75
A 6 week program for students who have completed Acting 103 or the young professional actor looking to practice performance for the entirety of the session. This class is for those who are ready to be challenged in taking direction, analyzing characters in more ways than one, and ready to cold read monologues in front of their peers. The text used in this class will be more advanced, and students will be asked to read on the spot. This class requires full participation.
